We know you want the best for your family. And getting children engaged in sports at an early age is a great way to develop the necessary social and emotional skills to support not only their success in school and life, but also build confidence and lifelong healthy habits.
Project Play: Southeast Michigan is working collectively across all of our communities to help improve the access and quality of youth sports for all children. We hope the following resources and events can help to guide you on a path toward the opportunities and information you need to get and keep your child playing!
Get moving with Coach Michael of Playworks for a fun game of Up, Down, Stop, Go! We hope these suggestions and instructions are useful to young athletes, their families, and their sports instructors.
Thank you to Playworks for contributing to this fun, at-home play kit! As always, please consider your own circumstances and use your best judgment. #ProjectPlayKits
